It can be used as a moisturizer and solvent, providing moisturizing and hydrating effects to the skin. Additionally, Butylene Glycol is mostly derived from fatty acids obtained through the fermentation of sugarcane, making it a natural ingredient with high safety. Tests have shown that when applied intermittently to the skin, once every other day for a total of 16 days, no irritation or inflammation was observed among the 200 participants in the study.
