1,2-Hexanediol

1,2-Hexanediol exhibits excellent compatibility with other substances (easily soluble in water, ethanol, etc.), 

allowing it to combine effectively with other antimicrobial agents to provide antibacterial and anti-irritant effects.

Additionally, it has been reported that 1,2-hexanediol is used in deodorants, where it has a noticeable deodorizing and antiperspirant effect on the skin, 

and is gentle on the skin. 

Due to its antimicrobial properties and absence from the preservatives list, 1,2-hexanediol is often used as an alternative preservative in preservative-free formulations. 

1,2-Hexanediol is a polyol with moisturizing and antimicrobial properties. 

It exhibits significant inhibition against bacteria and yeasts, although its effectiveness against molds is somewhat weaker.

Usage Recommendations: 

- Recommendation 1: 0.4% 1,2-Hexanediol + 0.5% Hydroxyacetophenone 

- Recommendation 2: 0.8% 1,2-Hexanediol + 0.4% Hydroxyacetophenone
