Operation method

Remove contaminants -> Sanding -> Coating -> Sintering -> Cooling

Application method

• Remove contaminants : Surfaces must be clean and dry otherwise, They cause a rough surface, poor adhesion and pin holes of coating.
• Sanding : The surface should be treated with sandblasting, liquid honing, or an equally effective process.
• Coating : Coating preparation
  • Firmly seal the container, slowly rotate the container at an angle ten times by hand, and then mix the solution with a rotating mixer until it is evenly dispersed. Do not open containers until ready to use, keep lid on container when not in use.
  • Filter the solution with a 100-200 mesh stainless steel screen after rotating enough times.
  • Spray nozzle : 0.8-1.3mm, spray pressure : 1.5-2.5kg/m³
    Recommended distance between the spray gun and the substrate : 15-25cm

Sintering

• When sintering DY 10C Series, DY 10C Series have each sintering temperatures as per product. sop, please refer to the manual.
• Progressively raise temperature and maintain the maximum temperature for 5 minutes.
• Suddenly heating can cause air bubbles, poor adhesion

Cauton

• White spots may appear on the surface of the substrate when the substrate and coating is cold, especially in winter time because of a problem in coating flow. To avoid this phenomenon, please keep it warm(over 5°C) and pre-heat it before working.
• Keep adequate ventilation during application
• Don't mix other types of paint. especially, separate from Powder Coating.
• Ideal storage temperature is 5°C~30°C in warehouse.
