In the first human study with 16 people, Ob-X reduced waist circumference and waist to hip ratio after 4 month treatment without any exercise and diet. 

In the second human study with 25 people, body fat loss and weight loss were observed while lean body mass increased after 12-week treatment of Ob-X.  Reduction of body fat was analyzed by computed tomography and 1.5g of Ob-X per day for 3 months showed reduction of lower abdominal fat area, especially visceral fat loss by 9.5% (p<0.01) asanalyzed by CT without any exercise or diet.

In the third randomized placebo-controlled double-blind human study of Ob-X was completed with 53 people with caloric restriction diet and exercise. Ob-X showed 20 % reduction of visceral fat by CT analysis (p=0.041) after 12-week treatment at a dose of 1.38g (same content of active ingredients as previous two studies) per day.  The reduction of visceral fat was twice as much as that of what it was observed in the placebo group.

No adverse events were reported in the three human studies.
