LADIS (LAmp DISinfection) is an ultraviolet light sterilizer that fits like a cap on a plastic bottle containing drinking water to sterilize the drinking water in the bottle. The lamp, which shines in the UV-C wavelength, kills 99.9% of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses in less than two minutes, providing users with safe, clean drinking water to prevent waterborne diseases. A sub-model of the LADIS is the LADIS BOTTLE (portable multi-purpose UV sterilizer), which adds convenience and versatility to the LADIS and can sterilize not only drinking water, but also a variety of small household items such as masks, glasses, accessories, and more.
