Magicplus's history and product status are as follows. Magicplus, developed as an eco-friendly coolant additive, first emerged in 2010. Prior to this, in 2004, a coolant additive called "Gikosu" was developed in Japan. Subsequently, in South Korea after 2006, 2-3 similar products were released, but they faced issues with sludge formation, affecting effectiveness and longevity.

In response to these challenges, Magicplus pioneered the development of an eco-friendly coolant additive with no impurities. The product development took several more years to ensure satisfaction across a diverse market where there are over 4 types of coolants and more than 2,000 coolant products globally. The efforts culminated in the completion of a 300ml product in February 2018.

In South Korea, the company has been conducting smog tests on vehicles with Magicplus coolant for over a decade. In November 2018, successful smog tests were conducted in China, demonstrating the effectiveness of reducing vehicle emissions to normal levels (211, within the standard of 850PPM or less, for vehicles exceeding 3,000PPM). However, the global economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic had an impact on the company's activities.

Nevertheless, in March 2023, the company planned to re-enter the global market by promoting its products through online channels in South Korea. This initiative reflects the company's determination to continue its growth and secure global recognition despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
