It is a traditional fermented liquor in the form of Gayangju brewed in a traditional way in the family. It is a fermented liquor unique to Korea that is fermented in an old clay pot using locally produced rice and traditional yeast, and is fermented with nutrients.

Natural carbonic acid, which is naturally produced during the yeast fermentation process, enhances the refreshing feeling like champagne and makes the taste deep and smooth.

Boksoondoga hand-made makgeolli, which insisted on local rice, natural yeast, and the traditional method of maturation in a jar, was more than 10 times more expensive than the popular diluted makgeolli, but it did not give up the traditional method and ingredients to preserve the taste of Gayangju that had been passed down from generation to generation. Boksoondoga, which is called makgeolli (makgeolli champagne) by applying 'natural carbonation' to the modern trend while keeping the basics of the old, commercialized hand makgeolli and became the first brand to lead premium makgeolli.
