As an exceptional Korean culture and content brand, FURMIN redevelops the hidden treasure of 19^th century Joseon, Minhwa into a new 21^st century design story.  

FURMIN is the most Korean and modern brand that designs carefully using traditional manufacturing methods with a design philosophy that looks beyond 100 years. Developed in collaboration with the artisan Kim Jae-yeol, who is a Korean intangible cultural asset number 55. The furniture was produced using a wood furniture technique that does not use nails and is extremely sturdy. 

The method has been passed down for 100 years. 

The furniture was designed based on the Korean artistic content, Minhwa, in which the design was drawn directly by a Minhwa artist. The productivity was maximized using a production method that digitally prints on a 100% linen material.

This results from a problem in the hardware and structure. Hanok, Korean traditional houses, can be moved even after 100 years of construction, and this is because the hanoks we see today were constructed based on the structural technique.
