HOW TO USE

Lighting up by hand

Put the candle on a flat surface with minimal wind, and light up the wick for 3~5 seconds. To prevent the wax from tunneling, melt the entire surface down on first use. Trim the burnt part of the wick before lighting again.

Using a candle warmer

When the scent doesn’t spread upon being lit, pour out an inch of molten wax(be careful not to burn yourself).

About the wooden wick

- The wooden wick may take more time to light up(up to 10 seconds) than a cotton wick. Wooden wicks may be extinguished slightly easier - If the light goes out, try lighting up again after trimming the burnt part of the wick.

- If the wick gets too short to be lit on fire, try melting down the surface of the wax by a standard hair dryer, pouring out the residue wax then lighting up again.

- To prevent the wax from tunneling, melt the entire surface down on first use.

- Trim the wick down before lighting up to make sure the fire stays stable.

- Stop using when there is little wax left on the floor of the jar.

- To put out the fire, we recommend using the lid of the jar, a wick dipper or a non-plastic teaspoon. Pouring a little molten wax on the wick with a spoon to ensure clean extinguishing.

Warning	Do not light the candle in windy places or near a flammable object. Do not leave the candle unattended. Put out the candle before leaving or going to bed. Keep the candle out of sight of the elderly, children and pets. To avoid excessive singe, trim the wick down to 5mm(3/16 of an inch). Use a wick dipper to prevent excessive smoke. Light the candle for 1~2 hours to evenly melt the surface on first use. Not doing so will cause only the inner part to melt and the light going out, eventually rendering the candle unusable. Only light the candle on an even surface. Do not move the candle when lit. The candle may melt down if placed in high temperature. Leave the last 1cm(0.39 inches) of the candle wax for safer use. White dust may occur from candle wax. To remove this, dust off with soft cloth. To remove wax stuck on the wick or the container, put the candle in the freezer(this causes the wax to shrink) for easier removal. Alternatively, use hot water or hair dryers(be careful with the high temperature, in these cases).
