◈ Microfibers are an effective substrate for hydrogel-based 3D cell culture because of their excellent porosity, 

structural stability, and strength. With their pores larger than convent­tonal porous membrane films and 

nanofibers, these materai is allow the excellent infiltration into cells and hydrogels. Microfibers also 

facilitate an improved handling of hydrogels with low physical strength, thus enablingg the wide application 

range of hydrogels on experiments.
