DPC® Catalyst

Catalyst formulation, pitch and sizing are the keys to successful SCR system application and performance.  Although catalyst formulations are proprietary, the most common components in steam generation applications use titanium dioxide with small amounts of vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten, or a combination of other active reagents.  Formulation is matched to the flue gas conditions based on ash-free flue gas, low-ash flue gas, high-dust flue gas and the ash constituents.

A roll of stainless steel expanded metal substrate is used for the base material to manufacture of plate type catalyst. The substrate is homogeneously pressed and pasted by the material formulated of titanium dioxide with small amounts of vanadium and tungsten, which is matched to the flue gas conditions required by the customer. The paste-pressed metal substrate is to form a catalyst plate of 0.7 to 1.0 mm in thickness.

   The catalyst plate after cutting to length, correctly sized undulations, to set the catalyst pitch, are formed onto each plate prior to final processing and drying. The completed plates are then   assembled into encased canisters; multiple canisters are packaged into a metal-frame shipping block
