According to the survey conducted by the U.S. Quarantine Authority, two million people experienced secondary infections every year in the United States alone, which killed approximately 100,000. Antimicrobial copper is the only contact surface for solid metal that has independently verified data through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s public health registration. 

This data supports the argument that the antimicrobial copper constantly exterminates 99.9% of bacteria which causes health care associated infections (HCAI) within two hours.
