Product Information
Fresh Ginger is mainly used in the local Jamu (traditional herbal medicine) industry. It is also used for flavoring beverages such as a ginger tea and ginger flavored coffee which are very popular in Indonesia. The ginger oil on the other hand is used in wide spread of industries such as Perfumery, Aromatherapy, Cosmetic, Flavor and Fragrance, Food and Beverages. We get all our Ginger Oil from local Indonesian farmers and accumulators who harvest and process the underground stem through steam or hydro distillation to produce a crude form of ginger oil.

Van Aroma was founded in 2006 with a mission to PROVIDE OPTIMAL QUALITY INDONESIAN NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS TO THE GLOBAL MARKET.
We setup our first facility in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. This is where the collection and standardisation of essential oils initially took place. At the time of our genesis, Patchouli Oil and Nutmeg Oil were the only two products we dealt with. Our progressive planning quickly led us to expand our services to products such as Clove Oil, Vetiver Oil and several other natural extracts from Java and Sulawesi. In 2009, we added our second facility in Jakarta to keep up with the growing demand of our products.
This helped us in focusing on the production of further refined products like the many different derivatives of clove and patchouli oil. Today we have expanded our workforce and boardenend our infrastructural capabilities to include reaction, solvent extraction and steam distillation unit.
