Product Information
Clove trees are indigenous to Indonesia. It is also the largest consumer of clove bud, which is primarily used in the kretek industry. Due to this demand, farmers are using remaining components of the clove tree to produce leaf and stem oils and their derivatives. We got all our Clove Oil from local Indonesian farmers and accumulators who harvest and process clove leaves, stem, and bud through steam distillation to produce a crude form of Clove Oil.Clove Derivative obtained through the acetylation of Eugenol. Used in perfumes to emphasize floralness in carnation.

Van Aroma was founded in 2006 with a mission to PROVIDE OPTIMAL QUALITY INDONESIAN NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS TO THE GLOBAL MARKET.
We setup our first facility in the city of Padang, West Sumatra. This is where the collection and standardisation of essential oils initially took place. At the time of our genesis, Patchouli Oil and Nutmeg Oil were the only two products we dealt with. Our progressive planning quickly led us to expand our services to products such as Clove Oil, Vetiver Oil and several other natural extracts from Java and Sulawesi. In 2009, we added our second facility in Jakarta to keep up with the growing demand of our products.
This helped us in focusing on the production of further refined products like the many different derivatives of clove and patchouli oil. Today we have expanded our workforce and boardenend our infrastructural capabilities to include reaction, solvent extraction and steam distillation unit.
