Laser barcode printers are used to print barcode, letter or images on a label utilizing laser, Traditionally, thermal barcode printers have been used but it has weakness in that labels fade out over time when they in contact with friction or chemical since printing is done on the label surface.
on the other hand, laser barcode printers utilize laser to pass loser through the label layers without damaging the label surface to print in the middle layer.
Since the label surface acts as protector of the barcode, letters or images printed on the label the laser labels can be printed without being faded by friction or chemical.
Another benefit is that laser life is 100,000(equivalent to 34 years based on 8-hour use per day) costing virtually none to purchase consumables.
