PERU WORLD WIDE S.A.C. (www.peruworldwide.net) is a Peruvian growing company specialized on producing, processing , packing and exporting natural, and certified organic ,Quinoa (White, Red and Black) , and its derivatives: Puffed , Flakes and Flour
and have started the raising , the processing and exporting of roasted SACHA INCHI seeds
The company was founded by Rafael and Fernando Arrarte, two brothers and Industrial Engineers with great experience in agribusiness, industrial projects and international commerce. Excited with its exceptional nutritional qualities and the benefits that Quinoa can bring to humanity, we decided on 2008 to launch our company with this noble crop as our main export product
We are located in Arequipa city the second biggest Peruvian city at the southern part of Peru, located at 2,300 meters above sea level.
Arequipa has a dry and sunny weather very suitable for packing dried products and is the main Peruvian zone producer of amaranth, cochineal , paprika and the Quinoa crop is growing very fast and with very good results.
Arequipa is located very close to Puno (3,800 m above sea level) city nearby the Andes mountain chain, where exists the world’s largest quinoa production and where we have very good alliances with farmers to obtain the best quality quinoa grains.
We have a great export experience from year 2009, when we started to export to USA, our main market, and had increased our sales every year with an average rate of near 100% , we have also exported to , Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay , England and New Zealand.
Is important to mention that the primary process to clean, peeled, wash and select our grains is made in a HACCP Certified processing plant, specialized on quinoa processing and with the latest technology, like steam wash and hot air drying process along with destoning, gravimetric and optical sorting process that assures that we use the best quality grains to make our derivatives products like: flour, flakes, puffed and extruded.
STRATEGIC ALLIANCE WITH FARMERS ASSOCIATIONS
As part of our continuing evolution and growth process, which is consistent with our long-term view of our business, and our passion we have made strategic alliances with Peruvian Farmers Associations located in Arequipa and Puno.
Under these alliances our farmers Associations members cultivate the best conventional and organic quinoa in their own fields for us. Some of the advantages of working under these agreements are that the farmers receive our certified seeds, expert technical advice about the conventional and organic quinoa cultivation process and finally farmers receive from us a fair price for their quinoa.
We have also started recenlty and Strategic Alliance with partners in the Southern Jungle of Peru to raise SACHA INCHI , wich its seed is the best naural source of Omegas 3, 6 and 9
OUR OWN QUINOA DERIVATIVES PROCESSING PLANT
We have implemented a modern process plant to produce derivatives in base of quinoa and other grains and seed in the city of Arequipa, Peru.
Our plant has the following process lines:
1.- Two production lines to produced puffed from quinoa, amaranth and white giant corn
2.- One production line to produce Quinoa and Amaranth Flakes
3.- Retail Packing lines of several conventional and organic grains, seeds and powders
4.- Other production lines in order to get products with added value based on grains, seed and powders will be introduces in the near future
5.- We are starting the implementation of a Roasted processing line for SACHA INCHI seeds
