HS-RKY-9850 Two-component emulsion removable adhesive

 

HS-RKY-9850 is a two-component emulsion removable acrylic adhesive. It has the advantage of saving energy, lowing the cost, air pollution-free & easy-to-operate. For adapting to different requirement, we have developed ed sorts of adhesive to meet our customers requirements. HS-RKY-9850 is specially designed for protection film, tinfoil and removable label sticker, it has the features of good initial tack & excellent adhesion..

Initial tack and peeling strength is adjustable if matches with curing agent of HS-W-100, proportion ranges from 0.8% to 3.0%. If applied to PVC materials, the proportion ranges should be from 2.3% to 3.0%

HS-W-100 Emulsion curing agent (For water-based adhesive only)

4HS-W-100 Curing Agent (Instruction)

1) Formulating(Confirm W--100 is valid or not before compounding)

Adding curing agent HS-W-100 slowly into the liquid adhesive and stiring it at the same time. Stiring 15 minutes after added the curing agent, leave it there for the bubble rising in the mixture, when the bubble disappeared, the mixture could be used.Deprecated to add any other additive.

2) Temperature requirements of coating oven

Take one coating oven with 7 parts and 25 meters length for example. The temperature would be(from the beginning part side): 80℃,100℃,110℃,120℃,110℃,100℃,90℃. It should be adjusted according to the process and equipment. The coating speed should be 50-80m/min, which should be adjusted according to coating thickness, the length and temperature of the oven, and exhaust air rate.

3) Curing of the adhesive tape

In order to make the performance of the adhesive tape to reach a steady value, and also make the cohesion close to the maximum. All coated tape must be stored for a few days before testing, processing or using.The time usually be 3 days in summer and 7 days in winter. To shorten the curing time, we could put the adhesive tape in one hothouse with the temperature around 40℃, then the curing time would be shorten to 72 hours.

4) Physical Properties

Suggested adding rate of curing agent is 1.5%, it ranges from 0.8% to 3.0%.In this range, Reducing the curing agent would get a higher peeling strength, while adding curing agent would get a higher holding power.

5) Attention

The curing agent could not be mixed with any other adhesive. All equipment(such as container, glue pump,pipe and coating shaft) should be cleaned up before using. The curing agent should be added before coating. When added, it need to be stired evenly with the liquid adhesive. The mixture liquid of adhesive and curing agent must be used up within 6 hours, or the mixture would be thicker and thicker, until totally be hardened. The hardened adhesive is forbidden to use. The attached inspection report with this instruction, is tested under some specific conditions. We are responsible to above data, but before mass production with our curing agent, please be noted testing is necessary. After confirming the curing agent is available for your requirement, then begin the mass goods production, which could help to reduce the risk of loss.

5, Temperature resistance of HS-W-100 emulsion curing agent

When the adhesive with HS-W-100 is made for adhesive tape, the bonding temperature should be above 10℃. But after it is bonded, the adhesive could keep its performance long-term in the temperature of -20℃ to 100℃, and shortly temperature resistance would reach 80℃.
