meal, considering the proportion of the blending of ingredients and its nutrition altogether.

SENGRAN, the mind as it is

“A boiled rice sprinkled with rice powder of splendid colors on top of it in my childhood! It was the most

precious meal for me, humble but still holding an happiness of a household.” 

Sengran is a compound word, ‘sen’ means ‘live’ in Chinese and ‘gran’ means grain in English, representing

‘the grain in nature as it is.’ We have a specialty in producing Granfood (the food made of grain in nature as it

is), such as Furikake (a dry Japanese seasoning meant to be sprinkled on top of rice, natural seasonings,

cereals etc.

Sengran was initiated from an concerning of a mother who couldn’t serve a meal for her children because she

had to go out for work. Her two children were suffering from Atopic allergy, a skin disease, at that time. Her

thoughts, ‘Is there any simple but healthy meals for them?’, brought the idea of healthy Furikake for the first time

in Korea, and started to commercially develop it for other working moms. 

We have a belief that the food grown in the local soil and earth helps people healthier. With the faith and the

mind of mothers who want to supply only good things for their children, we make our whole efforts to develop

safe and healthy foods for a balanced diet. We hope for building a better world sharing good food and mind
