Evaporated Salt is a food grade, granular, white crystalline sodium chloride manufactured under stringent process control procedures by vacuum evaporation of chemically purified brine. The brine is obtained by dissolving unrefined solar salt, which has previously been crystallized by solar evaporation.

APPLICATIONS

Evaporated Salt is intended for a variety of end-use applications, particularly those where alkaline earth metals (calcium, magnesium, etc.) and heavy metals (metallic impurities

colored by sulfide) must be kept to a minimum. It is particularly well suited for use in dry salt dispensing and brining applications. Food uses include baking, cheese manufacture and meat

processing.

PACKAGING AND STORAGE

Evaporated Salt is available in 25KG bag, 50KG bag and 250KG big bags. multiwall kraft containers, which incorporate polyethylene film liners for added moisture protection, and in bulk. To improve caking resistance, the product should be stored in a dry, covered area at humidity below 75%.
