The only manufacturing technique in Korea!!

1.The only manufacturing technique in Korea using a titanium tube

We possesses an original technique for manufacturing a low-temperature and high efficiency condensation-type waste-heat recovery heat-exchanger using a corrosion-resistant titanium material for a heavy or light oil-based boiler or incinerator emitting corrosive exhaust gas.

2. Split Structure into Sections

The heat-exchanger capacity can be adjusted by adjusting the number of sections, and the heat-exchanger can be installed in a place with a narrow inlet thereto.

3.Specially made by tube-expansion technique, not by welding approach

Titanium is a material that can be welded only in a special environment, which leads to many difficulties in manufacturing. We have overcome this challenge via many years of efforts by developing our own manufacturing technique, that is, the tube-expansion. This is the only manufacturing technique in Korea that is proprietary.

 

1) High waste-heat recovery rate

The soot in the combustion gas adheres to the heating surface, reducing

the heat exchange efficiency. However, it is possible to maintain the heat

exchange rate constantly by automatically cleaning the soot.

2) Heat-exchanger with long life span

Use of corrosion-resistant materials ensures longer

durability than a boiler life.

3) Automation Operation

Since the present waste-heat recovery system has almost

no moving parts, there is no fault during operation.

The system is operated automatically using a control panel,

thereby facilitating the operation of the system.

 

 

<Waste heat recovery system>

 

High-temperature exhaust gas emitted to a flue during boiler/ incinerator operation

The exhaust gas that is burned in the boiler/incinerator is discharged at a temperature of about 200 ~ 250 o C and is discharged into the atmosphere, resulting in very high heat loss.

So here is our product,

Low-temperature, high-efficiency waste-heat recovery heat-exchanger using condensation

The present system is configured to utilize recovered heat for hot water supply or heating, wherein the recovered heat is acquired from a waste-heat recovery heat exchanger configured to collect a heat from a high-temperature exhaust gas generated by operating a boiler/incinerator and discharged to the atmosphere.

 

 

<Waste-heat recovery method>

In this system, a waste-heat recovery heat-exchanger with excellent heat transfer efficiency is installed between an exhaust gas outlet from the boiler/incinerator and a flue. Thus, the high temperature exhaust gas at 200 to 250 o C heat-exchanges with cool water (about 10 to 15 o C) via a countercurrent. In this way, the waste heat is recovered, and the exhaust gas is discharged to the flue at a temperature of about 40 to 50 o C , thereby to reduce a fuel cost.

 

<Application of corrosion-resistant titanium (Ti) tube>

Titanium is a very strong material for sulfuric acid and has corrosion resistance to exhaust gases containing sulfur

and maintains a constant thermal conductivity. Therefore, waste-heat recovery is also possible in boilers/incinerators

using corrosive gas generating fuels such as B-C oil and light oil. Further, even when the exhaust gas temperature is lowered to a low temperature (about 50 o C) below the lower temperature corrosion point, corrosion can be avoided

and the latent heat can be recovered.

It is possible to increase a difference between the inlet and outlet temperatures of the heat-exchanger by supplying

cold water for the water heating application. Thus, the present system is excellent in heat exchange efficiency.

The exhaust gas temperature falls below the low temperature corrosion point (is lowered to about 50 o C), so that

moisture (water vapor) contained in the exhaust gas condenses via the condensation phenomenon and is removed.

As a result, the prevention of white smoke and the recovery of latent heat are possible.
