Baeksubaekbok : Baeksubaekbok means longevity and full of blessings and it was inscribed on folding screens used during grand festivals at royal palaces in the past to wish the king’s long and blessed life.

Ottchil : If a cut is made on the surface of lacquer tree, grayish white milky resin comes out from the cut. It is called “Chil”. “Ottchil” is a quality coat which has been most valued for coating metals or woods from old times. Since it is an eco-friendly and expensive material manufactured in a small quantity, it is mostly used for high-class artworks.
