│ DESCRIPTION │
This wire could be used for up to 1380℃ (over diameter of 2.0mm). It is thermally stabilized and has a relatively
long service life. The variability of its resistance is low.
It has outstanding thermal and corrosion resistance, almost equivalent to of the Nichrome group.
It is widely used as the heating body in the electrical furnace, home heater and hot wire for oxidation film.
However, comparing to NiCr alloys, its specific resistance and specific gravity are high and low, respectively. Consequently, it can save up to 30% by weight. Also even when it is used for a long period, its voltage remains constant as long as the ambient temperature is within the operation temperature range of electric heating devices and electric furnaces
For Cr14 + Al4, It could be used for up to 1050℃. Since it is available in various shapes, it can be used as a load resistor. Especially due to its reasonable price, it is widely used for industrial heaters and electronic appliances.
