Product Information
High ferrous cast iron sculls (Fe 90%+)
The material is a perfect substitute for pig iron for cast iron foundries. Chemical analysis is in attached file.
Before shipment the material will be sieved by excavator with special sieving bucket and separated by magnet loader to exclude non-ferrous silicate part. Currently we have 1000 MT, but we will be able to provide 3000-5000 MT per month, because material is really interesting for cast iron foundries.
We can ship it from port Kotka in any safe port of the world.
This kind of material is the best solution for cast iron foundries engaged in railway brakes and automotive casting manufacturing due to sufficient content of phosphorus. Manufacturers requiring high friction ware resistance often have to buy ferrophoshorus as an additive to pig iron to achieve required characteristics. Ferrophosphorus index is now $ 500-800 per MT. This material already contains 2-3% of phosphorus
