EFB PELLETS & EFB FIBER:

EFB ( Empty Fruit Bunch ) Fibre or Palm Fibre or Peat Fiber is produced from the Oil Palm’s vascular bundlesin the Empty Fruit Bunch ( EFB ). When the FFB ( Fresh Fruit Bunch ) is processed, the by product is Mesocarp Fiber and EFB Fiber. The Mesocarp fiber is reused by the Palm Oil Mill and the EFB Fiber is sold. EFB Fiber is 100% natural, non-hazardous, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Two main uses of Empty Fruit Bunches are for mulching purposes in Plantation and as fuel for electricity generation. EFB fibers have more uses, namely, 1) Animal Feed supplement for cattle, goats, sheep, 2) Rich source of organic fertilizer for farming, 3) Excellent mulching material for young plants, seedlings and landscaping, 4) Raw Material for Composite Board Manufacture, 5) Alternative Boiler Fuel in the form of fiber or Pellets , amongst others.  EFB is becoming a popular source of fuel for renewable energy ( RE ) power generation. The main achievement for using biomass based RE power generation is the reduction in greenhouse gas emissions ( GHG ).

We have EFB Pellets with Ash content from 1.8% to 6%. Bulk Density of above 500 kg/m3 for Animal Feed and Bulk density of above 600 kg/m3 for Bio-Fuel usage. GCV is above 4000 kcal/kg and moisture is below 10%.
