Wet strength agent( PAE –DS)

Description

  Its chemical name is polyamide polyamine epichlorohydrin resin. This product can not only improve the paper’s wet and dry strength, but also improve the fines and filler’s retention ratio; This product can be absorbed quickly and efficiently by pulp fiber (with negatively charged), at the same time,  thermosetting chemical reaction occur in drying section.

 This product can be absorbed easily by pulp fiber and can be cured in neutral and alkaline conditions.

It can be widely used in household paper, medical paper, fruit -bag paper, map paper, decorated base paper, coated paper,and other kinds of paper which has wet strength requirements.

 Features

1. This product not only can improve the paper’s wet strength (improve 5—10 times) but also can improve paper’s dry strength (20—30%).

2. The positive charge density is high; it can improve the drainability of paper pulp . At the same time can improvethe retention of filler, sizing material and fine fiber.

3. it has no free formaldehyde, avoid paper yellowing after a long time.

4. The range of application is wide. The fiber can absorb it from acid to alkaline broad PH range, can achieve good wet strength effect without adding aluminium sulfate.

5. It will achieve a better effect in neutral and weak alkaline conditions.

Dosage and methods

1. 0.5—1.0% to oven dry stock,  Best use of PH value is 7.5-8.0 

2. Broken paper and waste paper recucling easy：Unbleached paper: the ccondition of beating can be controled to the ph value to about 65c.

   3. bleaching paper: adjust  PH value to 5-8, the temperature is about 5℃. The effect will be better if add a small amount of sodium hypochlorite.
