In 1995, under the leadership of Son Yong Hae, Go heung pome environment-friednly agricultural association corporation began pomegranate cultivation and has since been established as Goheung Regional Pomegranate Agro-business Cooperative (G.R.P.A.C) (official date of cooperate registration: January 31, 2005.). G.R.P.A.C. has since constructed cold storage facilities and production facilities and is the first of its kind in marketing domestic pomegranate products. The following products have been launched and are currently on the market: "Goheung Pomegranate Plus," "Pomegranate Fragrance," and "Goheung Gold Pomegranate Concentrate.“

Goheung Jeollanamdo's mild sea breezes and clean fresh air make it the ideal environment for pomegranate cultivation.
