How to prolong life-span of crucible?

1.Stored in the dry warehouse, kept from moisture

2. Scrolling and wrestling shock is prohibited, so as not to damage the protective layer of the crucible

3. Baking prior to the use of the crucible, baking temperature rise to 500 degrees Celsius slowly and constantly, heat evenly to remove the water in the body of crucible (if pre-heat improperly, crucible peeling , cracking will occur )

4. The crucible should match with the crucible furnace; the lid on the pot can not be pressed

5. Flame should be sprayed to the crucible base instead of crucible body

6. Feeding slowly, not too much, too tight, so as not to split up the crucible

7. Better used continuously, so as to get better high performance

8. Pay attention to that the amount of the additive into the smelting process, excessive use will reduce the life span

9. Rotating the crucible periodically to heat evenly

10. The crucible slag and coke should be removed often
