Bagel Labs is a young tech startup that focuses on building a big data platform based on various size data. Originally formed as 'Team Bagel' in June 2015, Bagel Labs was incorporated in January 2016 shortly after the prototyping of its first smart tape measure, Bagel.
In less than six months into product development, Bagel Labs was acknowledged for its ideas and technology, winning numerous awards including a grand prize in the K-Global Startup IoT Awards.
In February 2016, Bagel Labs debuted globally at Mobile World Congress and received a lot of global attention as well, including PC Mag that selected Bagel as one of their favorite smart home gadget.
The Bagel, the first smart tape measure, launched on Kickstarter in 2016 drew much attention as it successfully ended up raising $1,353,798 from 10,766 backers pledged.
After this campaign, Our backers' valuable feedback inspired us to improve upon Bagel. We raised the bar for our quality standards and perfected our core technologies for accuracy in measurements and seamless data sync.
For two years,
we have spent most of our times on sensors and algorithms to make them deliver perfect measurements at any condition.
In 2018, Bagel Labs held a Kickstarter campaign again for the second smart tape measure PIE for anyone who wants to track, monitor, and see the results of a healthy, active lifestyle. This raised $77,215 from 1,068 backers.
