High Intensity Focused Ultrasound
It is a medical procedure that applies high intensity focused ultrasound energy to locally heat in the target area through focused transducer to induce coagulation, shrinkage and collagen & elastin renewal by intensity of energy.
It is similar in concept to burn up a paper by focusing light through a magnifying glass.
