The company wholly owns Weifang Yucheng Chemical Co., Ltd. Shandong Runke Chemical Co., Ltd. and Weifang Yucheng Chemical Co., Ltd. are Shandong New High-tech Enterprises.
Based on abundant local underground brine, the company is mainly engaged in the fine chemical engineering technology research and production management of bromine, high polymer brominated flame retardant, pharmaceutical intermediates, etc. with self-run import and export rights.
The company now has formed three series over 30 varieties of products:
①Produce 2,400 tons of bromine per year and the annual consumption of bromine of the company reaches 5,000 tons or more.
② Bromine series flame retardant products: 4,000 tons of decabromodiphenylethane per year, 3,000 tons of brominated polystyrene per year, 1,000 tons of environmentally friendly fire retardant PPBBA FR-1025 per year; 1,000 tons of 1, 2-bis (tetrabromo phthalimide) ethane per year; 3,000 tons of tetrabromo phthalic anhydride per year, 3,000 tons of tetrabromo phthalic anhydride diol per year, 500 tons of three (2, 2-bis (bromine methel)-3-bromine propyl group) phosphate RK-370 per year, 10,000 tons of brominated butadieneinyl aromatic copolymers and 10,000 tons of tetrabromobisphenol A bis ether per year.
③ Pharmaceutical intermediates product: 2,000 tons of P-methy sulfuryl benzaldehyde 2,000 per year.
R&D Strength, Technology Advantage
The company has realized transformation from “Resource Advantage” to “Technology Advantage” in recent years; focuses on strengthening scientific and technological force construction and identifies “Technological Development” as the company’s development advantage and direction.
The company has an independent R&D center. The R&D building has a construction area of 2,600 m2, is designed to build semi-works of 12 monomers; and has experimental facilities and instruments worth of over 3 million yuan. The large instruments include gas chromatograph, liquid chromatograph, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, differential thermal analyzer, infrared spectrophotometer, UV spectrophotometer, automatic melting point measuring apparatus, granulometer and thermostability detector (TGA detector). More effective technological achievements
The company has undertaken a national torch plan project (low molecular water-soluble chitosan) and 6,000t/s brominated SBS industrialization exploitation selected into the national 12th Five-year Technology Plan. It has obtained two provincial scientific and technological development plan projects (new environmentally friendly fire retardant brominated styrenetadiene copolymer and FR-1025 preparation with the mixed solvent method) and a municipal scientific and technological development plant project (AE- active ester synthesis new technology pilot scale test); passed the achievement identification of the preparation technology of new environmentally friendly fire retardant brominated styrenetadiene copolymer and FR-1025 preparation with the mixed solvent method (both two identifications are internationally advanced) and applied 25 national patents, including 11 invention patents and 14 utility model patents. Twenty patents have been authorized, including six invention patents and 14 utility model patents.

Material technologies researched in the direction of new environmentally friendly flame retardants and pharmaceutical intermediates in recent years include brominated SBS, polystyrene, brominated polystyrene, FR-1025, tetra-bromophthalate glycol, tetra-bromophthalate, 1, 2,3 - benzene tricarboxylic acid, Adelaide Palin -5, BCDMH, BC-52, BC-58 and so on. At present, the company is engaged in the research work of tetrabromophthalic acid propylene glycol diester / diol and tetrabromobisphenol A bis (2, 3 - dibromo-2 - methyl-propyl) ether products.
