Silt Protector is a flexible membrane product which is designed to prevent the spread of pollution arisen in dredging or reclamation works on the seas or rivers.

│ FUNCTION │ 

It plays a role in blockading turbidity factor and minimizing the spread of pollution on outside sensitive area. The pollution (fine particles) is likely to badly affect the benthic organism (marine life that lives at the bottom), making it difficult for fish to breathe as well.

│ FEATURES │ 

We have 3 types of silt protector like hanging type, standing type, combination type, It can be classified by Tube type and Covering Plastic head type according to the kind of material and strength.
A complete check on main factors.; current speed, wind velocity, wave height, water depth, silt curtain height, and tidal range. With these parameters, we can design Silt Protector complete with float sizes, chain weight, silt curtain depth & strength, and anchoring system.

Silt Protector   is designed to prevent the spread of pollution caused by dredging or reclamation works from seas or  rivers. It plays a role in blockading turbidity factor and minimizing the spread of pollution on outside sensitive area. The pollution of fine particle is likely to badly affect the benthic organism, marine life that lives at the bottom, making it difficult for fish to breathe as well.

It is classified by Tube type for strong force tide and Plastic Head type for low tidal force.

We design and select Silt Protector reflecting these site conditions by drawing a structural calculation sheet to decide float diameter, silt curtain strength & depth, chain weight, and anchoring system like ton-bag or concrete block by using installation site data such as Current date (velocity/current origin), Wind date (velocity/direction), Wave data ( height/circle/direction), Water depth (seabed depth), and Tidal (water height difference)
