Safe = Simple

My name is Lee Young-hee, and I am CEO of LK Medical. After serving as a nurse at a university hospital for 26 years, I started my own business. My company specializes in the manufacture of disposable medical devices and other consumable accessories.

Being a nurse at the hospital‘s front line, I had experienced many incidents that involved needless and syringes, including the spills on the floor of drugs to be administered patients due to the separation of disposable syringes‘ connections as a result of defects in workmanship or materials, the backflow of blood as a result of the disconnection of branches from 3-way systems, and occurrences of secondary infection in the wake of pricking by needless. Those past experiences have led me to give much thought to such accidents and find ways t o not only improve inconveniences and also increase the efficiency of nursing service. Our "safelock" products have resulted in our attempts to make up for those drawbacks.

I am quite sure that our "safelock" systems will provide patients with comfort and

safety and also enable healthcare professionals to increase their job performance and free them from the danger of secondary infection.
