DENSOLEN®-Tape R20HT as a mechanical protection outer wrapping
One layer of DRM-PP 1000 Plus pipeline protection rockshield
The inner wrapping of DENSOLEN®-Tape ET100 will amalgamate in the overlap area to form a sleeve-like coating, impermeable to water and electrically insulating. The special butyl rubber formula gives a very good resistance to temperature. The soft tape conforms closely to the structure of the steel surface and guarantees void-free coating.
DENSOLEN®-Tape R20HT is a two-ply tape with an HDPE carrier film and a butyl rubber coating on the one side. This tape will amalgamate completely in the overlap area with the inner layer of DENSOLEN®-Tape ET100.
DENSOLEN®-DRM-PP DRM-PP 1000 Plus pipe protection rockshield is a highly stable pipe protection fleece on a polypropylene base. The load-spreading effect of DRM-PP 1000 Plus effectively protects the coating underneath from damage by items in the ground. In addition the coating underneath is removed from contact with the surrounding soil. This means that temperature dependent longitudinal pipeline movement cannot lead to the shearing off of the coating.
