EMI shielding fabric is highly conductive metalised fabrics. it is a .004 inch(0.12mm±0.02mm) thick woven (or rip-stop)Nickel over Copper plated Polyester taffeta cloth that provides outstanding EMI shielding performance.They consist of a base material of nylon coated with nickel/copper. The fabrics have excellent conductivity in all directions and exhibit excellent shielding effectiveness. The thin woven Polyester construction makes it extremely flexible,yet very strong,capable of operational temperatures of -45 to 175ºC.They are very flexible and are ideal for wrapping around core material or for die stamping or for coating backing adhesive. The fabric has good abrasion resistance of in excess of 500,000 cycles and is fire retardant to UL94V0
Various adhesive options are available, including a hot melt adhesive on one side, a pressure sensitive adhesive on one side or it can be supplied without adhesive.
