"BEKOUM" is an eco-friendly and removable medical device which converts an normal patient's bed to electric adjustable one. It has newly developed and patented as this type of device for the first time in the world. BEKOUM" has been licensed for manufacturing as a first-rate medical device from KFDA.

Anyone can convert an existing patient's bed, which can be inclined the back of bed just manually, to electrically adjustable one using remote controller of "BEKOUM".

It is possible simply by mounting "BEKOUM" on the normal bed without any structural modification. So for those who, such as patients, need frequent changes of positions, "BEKOUM" can give them more easy and comfortable hospital life. And also, anyone can easily restore the bed to its original by simply removing the "BEKOUM" from the bed, for example, in the case of a power failure or for the safety.

l When installed at a pipe-shape frame l

1. Open the box to check components and arrange them.
2. Place Handle case onto Handle, carefully selecting from small, medium, and large-size one
   (The best choice is the one giving the least gap).
3. Insert the selected Handle case deep inside Motor axis of BEKOUM Body and fasten the screw securely to prevent beakaway.
4. Place Handle case onto Handle, and set up BEKOUM vertically from the ground. Measure the distance between bed frame and buckling groove on top of BEKOUM with a ruler.
5. Mark the distance of the built in shape stand and bend it into a shape.
6. Place the shape stand into the groove on top of BEKOUM and fasten firml ywith 2 to 3 screw nails.
7. Put and insert an elastic material between Handle and Handl ecase so as to make bed handle axis and motor axis in line wit heach other and fasten two points securely with cable tie.
8. Place BEKOUM in the upright position and fasten the shape stand securely with cable tie at the point where it contacts pipe structure of the bed.
   * It is better to fasten about two points for this, but tihf ere is only one point, mount a shape stand horizontally and fasten two points using this.
9. Connect Remote controller to BEKOUM, once installed, and supply power and organize cables. Moving it up and downward, checkto see if Matress and others contact the rotation part.
   * Caution - Magentic is built at the back of Remote contrloelr, making it easy to fix onto the bed steel frame. It may casue damage to magnetic credit cards, so be careful not to contact with them.

l When installed on a flat frame l

Flat frames have no pipe to connect a supporting material, so it is easier to place screw nails at an appropriate spot before connecting. To prevent damage to the bed, coil a rope around the flat frame as high as the supporting material and then fasten the product with a cable tie to the spot where the rope and the supporting materials meet each other.
- Installation stages from now are the same as pipe-shape frames

l Measures for safe use of BEKOUM l

1. Take a special care as excess load(120kg) or out-of-working range operation may cause damage to the link of manual beds.
2. As precise micom circuit is built in, avoid shock and moista s well as frequent operation for more than 3 minutes.
3. Have kids below 13 of age use under the guidance of the guardian. (Never use as a ride.)
4. Take a special care not to contact the rotation part with ah and or an object.
5. Do not bend, pull, coil or knot the power cable and remote controller cable too excessively.
6. Never put an object causing interference around the bed to avoid an unwanted injury or mechanical defect.
