First made public in 1992 with the aim of enhancing the nuclear medicine field, Nuclear Light Ltd. started off with radiation shielding facility construction, documentary service for the approval of facilities where radiation exploration must be shielded, and supplying dose calibrators, and later extended into the development of hot cell with its subsidiary devises. And it eventually leads to one of prominent organizations to be recognized by the market as an innovative firm in S. Korea.
With nuclear medicine equipment and well established know-how - piled up over two decades - of radiation shielding technologies, NL has contributed to the industry in terms of securing radiation safety and comfort use, resulting in the industrial enhancement with the accumulated radiation technique and experience. Company Introduction
Having developed and installed the NUCLOCK series since the first installation in 1993 at the Samsung Medical Center, Nuclear Light Ind. Co. Ltd. has set up and spread the series throughout well-known hospitals such as Seoul National University Hospital, ASAN Medical Center, National Cancer Center, and You-sei University Health System along with many others in South Korea.
With gradual development of the technologies in an effort to meet global standards, Nuclear Light first exported the NUCLOCK series to Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology in Thailand, government-run- institute, in 2011 and 2012 respectively. It is Because of IAEA that gave a special recommendation letter to the institute after NL had been recognized by the global community. Considering our endless efforts to enhance the NUCLOCK series every single day and recognition made by domestic and global communities, Nuclear Light is certain that the NUCLOCK series will be loved and make a great contribution to the industry worldwide.
NUCLOCK Hot Cell series
The NUCLOCK hot cell series are all designed to house dispensing systems and/or synthesis modules with safe, reliable, and sterile conditions. The NUCLOCK series equipped with single or double either horizontally or vertically built up is to have different configurations in regard to overall dimension, shielding capacity, and various accessories customized by an end-user.
A main structure used to support all the NUCLOCK series is of steel plate H. Beam (SS400) while the internal working area is made of stainless steel with well polished surface. And it is designed to allow for easy cleaning and decontamination.
The NUCLOCK series are all built to have a touch screen that provides clear image, easy-to-use, and ergonomics, so as to help us easily access all of the functions in a single point.
The NUCLOCK is also equipped with air tight system with acrylic glass panel held by inflatable gaskets mounted around the outline of all the entrances of cells.
Vial extraction system for the NUCLOCK series is placed on the side of a cell where it can house a vial. It is therefore possible to extract the radiopharmaceuticals without opening the main door.
The ventilated pre-chambers for the introduction of materials are mounted on either side suitable for preparing dose of radio medicines.
Production Hot Cell
The NUCLOCK N1 series is for radiopharmaceuticals production and performed in the safest conditions with air-tightness assured by inflatable seals, ventilation, absolute filtering and internal surfaces quality.

Dispensing Hot Cell
The NUCLOCK N2 series is a hot cell designed for radiopharmaceuticals dispensing where a dispenser is installed inside a cell to carry out daily activities in accordance with the GMP standards thanks to air tight, ventilation system with HEPA filters, absolute filtering and inside surfaces quality.

Research Hot Cell
The NUCLOCK N3 series designed for research experimentation purpose is made precisely to house synthesis modules with the highest flexibility suitable for setting up a new synthesis process.
The N3 cells are equipped with manipulation, plexiglass panel with gloves, internal sliding lead glass, air-tight transfer system with double door and lift. All above mentioned features enable to use the cell in different configurations and in particular the manipulation with front lead door opened but in air tight conditions (with plexiglass panel closed)
