Monoammonium Phosphate, also called Ammonium Dihydrogen Phosphate or MAP, is a kind of white powder with relative density 1.80, melting point 190℃ and refraction index of 1.525. MAP is stable in atmosphere and decomposed into ammonium metaphosphate (NH4PO3) while heated. MAP is slightly soluble in ethanol and easily soluble in water, the solubility in 100g water at 25℃ is 34.3g.

MAP is used as a high effective non-chloride N, P compound fertilizer in agriculture. It contains totally 74% fertilizer elements, which is used as a basic raw material for N, P and K compound fertilizer.
