1.Brief Indroduction
Polybutylene (PB) is a kind of thermoplastic plastic material, whose density is between that of PE and PP.
PB is one of the most advanced chemical materials applied in piping system, because of its excellent mechanical property,
good resistance to kinds of chemicals and superior stability to high temperature and pressure.
2.Characteristics and Advantages
1) Light weight and unique flexibility allows extremely fast and easy installation, which makes it easy to handle especially in areas of difficult access and limited elbow space.
2) Good resistant to chemical agents, resistant to shock and high abrasion.
3) The high elasticity of PB endues PB pipe resistance to low temperature and frost, which greatly widen the applying temperature and conditions of plastic pipes.
4) Very good resistance to prolonged stress combined with pressure and temperature.
5) Special PB pipes with oxygen-barrier can be provided to satisfy higher demands. Simple and reliable connecting methods, types of fittings can be used, such as push-fit , clamping, socket-fusion and electro fusion.
