• Amid the fast development of network-based information services including the internet and intranet, the internet became more, pervasive and network-based activities are increasing rapidly. In this context, hacking & intrusion blocking and information security are attracting public interest.

  SNIPER is aimed to eliminate risk factors from networks and ensure reliable network systems operation by detecting and notifying network intrusions including hacking. It is a leading IDS solution designed to detect and curb inappropriate use, misuse and abuse of computer systems in real time, which elude the detection of firewalls.

  Various types of SNIPER solutions are offered depending on applied networks, traffic volume and customer size. SNIPER series include SNIPER Standard (SS), SNIPER Professional(SP), SNIPER Enterprise (SE), SNIPER Giga (SG), designed for giga traffic environment, and SNIPER-IA, Giga bit IDS with a Itanium Processor based Intel platform 64bit. SNIPER supports both Solaris 8.0 and Linux OS, giving more O/S option to choose. Solaris is a very stable OS that is usually utilized by government agencies and organizations compare with Windows. Linux is cheaper but shows high performance.

  Beside, SNIPER created with only domestic technologies provides a user-friendly GUI (graphic user interface) and remote server control through central access. As it adopts the packet passive method, network systems are not heavy loaded.

  Outstanding quality and high performance of SNIPER have been proven in more than 20 BMTs (bench mark test) where SNIPER was ranked No. 1 all the time. Presently, we caught a K4 authentication from the KISA and NIS. SNIPER is also the only network security product in the industry, which acquired security approval from National Intelligence Service (NIS).
  SNIPER is currently installed and in operation in more than 120 sites including the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs (MOGAHA), the Ministry of Agriculture, and Forestry (MAF), the Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC), National Policy Agency, Daishin Securities, and Korea Development Bank (KDB). Among them, 50 sites including the MIC, National Statistical Office, ADD, Korea Institute for Defense Analyses, and DACOM have used SNIPER for more than one year. As such, SNIPER is a highly stable IDS solution, showing an impressive track record in relation to on-site trouble-shooting and constant upgrade.
  To be noted, SNIPER's operation stability on the high-speed Internet network (300Mbps-Giga bit) is the world best. Last June, SNIPER was selected as one of hit products of the year 2001, and was granted the first prize in the Korea Multimedia Technology Award.
