ECOFOAM 936
Product Characteristics
ECOFOAM 936 is an environment-friendly foam extinguishing agent which uses natural materials and which doesn't include fluorine or halogen, phenols, heavy metals and hazardous article, and in particular, is FFF(Fluorocompound Free Foam) which doesn't include halogen at all
It is the environment-friendly product which passed the environmental assessment for all the items for the first time in Korea.
It is the environment-friendly foam extinguishing agent which passed an acute oral toxicity test/a skin irritation test/ a fish acute toxicity test/an earthworm acute toxicity test/Daphnia magna acute swimming inhibition test/a freshwater algal growth inhibition test/a detection test of phenols/a lead detection test/a cadmium detection test/a hexavalent hard chromium detection test/a mercury detection test/PFOS detection text.
It is a foam extinguishing agent for both A class and B class which forms foam by diluting with water at 3% concentration, and shows its excellent fire-extinguishing ability at either its low expansion or high expansion.
It is a product recognized in its biodegradability, which minimizes the damages to the environment even when spraying or discharging in large quantities. (Korea Testing & Research Institute)
It won the presidential prize in the 2nc fire-fighting industry & technology for the development of an environment-friendly economical product.
Product Application
- ECOFOAM 936 is used after 3% dilution as the thing for fires "Class A", "Class B".
- ECOFOAM 936 can be applied to any nozzle used to the foam fire extinguishing.
- It shows its excellent ability to put our a fire at its high expansion.

It is possible to catch the two rabbitsThis modern society has also the disaster incidence increasing in proportion to it according as its industry highly develops. Because the fires due to man-made disasters as well as natural disasters among them have left the long-term sequelae to the nature, together with enormous damage in a very short time, the whole world has racked its brains to find the countermeasures.
All countries of the world have gotten to create the Stockholm Convention of POPs Treaty which bans and limits the production and the use of persistent organic pollutants (POPs) in Stockholm, Switzerland on May 22, 2001, under UNEP's leadership for preparing the countermeasures.
With the effectuation of the provision which is compulsory to optimally dispose of these substances on May 17, 2004 due to the regulations on 12 chemicals which have the strong persistence and serious harmful effects, 151 countries have signed this convention and 59 countries such as Canada and Australia have ratified it.
Thereby, the National Emergency Management Agency, Hanjunglube Co., Ltd. Emergency Management Research Center in University of Incheon have developed ECOFOAM 936, an environment-friendly foam extinguishing agent of 93.5% in biodegradability in Oct. 2008.
ECOFOAM 936 was recognized as the product which passed an acute oral toxicity test, a skin irritation test, an eye irritation test, a fish acute toxicity test, an earthworm acute toxicity test, Daphnia magna acute swimming inhibition test and a freshwater algal growth inhibition test which are the environment-friendly test certification to meet the strict regulations.
