This is the product made with mackerel caught in Jeju clean sea and herb extract directly harvested in Jeju (Unless grown directly, the products with the premium quality can not be made due to increase in prime cost. Top quality mackerels are selected thoroughly, and delivered in a vacuum packing after cleaning process and optimum salting with bay salt and herb extract.
Characteristics
Mackerel, which is caught during late fall or winter when the temperature drops, has more fat and maintains simple and chewy taste. We process or sell mackerels caught during fall and winter only.

Fisheries Cooperative Association Jein is specialized in processing of fisheries and distribution of processed foods. Our main production(sales) items include such fisheries products as herb mackerel, mackerel, yellow sea bream, silver hair tail, yellow croaker, and Japanese Spanish mackerel, combination set of agri-fisheries and livestock products, slated fishes, pesticide-free tangerine, organice Hallabong tangerine, other tangerines, chocolates, various herb products, herb tea, Port from Jeju Island black pig, horse meat of Jeju Island and horse meat-processing products.
Followed by the establishment of the company in August 2007, our first move was to develop mackerel using herb extract and opened "Jein Bonga," a restaurant under our direct management, in May 2008, for verifying real taste of herb mackerel. Our restaurant received a good press as the only authentic restaurant specialized in herb mackerel through consumers' internet comments and introduction on restaurant, together with consumer's direct verification. Shouts of encouragement and our pride led to the opening of the plant for manufacturing, processing and packing fisheries products in November 2009.
Also, with the continuous development of new products like herb seasoned rib and herb black pig feet, followed by herb mackerel, and the use of food materials produced in clean Jeju Island, we are becoming a new enterprise of simple honesty.
Additional introduction on our company includes herb farm with its size of about 10,000 pyong, manufacturing plant of herb cosmetics, 29-ton-drift gil net fishing boat, auctioneer and wholesaler of Jeju Fisheries Cooperative, and the restaurant under direct management. We are family-operated company, which has removed the complexity of distribution structure by saving production cost and direct management of fresh raw materials.
