Since the establishment in 1966, Taerim Corporation has exported processed natural sea weed fusiforme which was collected from clean region of Jeju coast, and it was provided by fisheries cooperatives of Jeju Island. Under excellent hygiene system, the natural sea weed fusiforme is processed by advanced equipment. Taerim Corporation exports this processed tasty and healthy food.

To let the people know excellent product quality that is recognized in Japan, and to launch various commercialized goods in Korea.

Since its establishment, total volume of seaweed fusiforme was exported to Japan. However, since 2004, various commercialized items have been sold in domestic market. In particular, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy selected Taerim as a regional specialized technology developing firm. Currently, extraction of anti oxidant and anti aging ingredients, and various beneficial substances of seaweed fusiforme is being studied with the help of Jeju University and Jeju provincial government.

Seaweed contains rich minerals, dietary fiber, calcium and potassium that are essential to men and women of all ages.  Thus, seaweed is very effective for growing children, pregnant women, nursing mothers and dieters as well as adult diseases including diabetes and hypertension.

Currently, we get used to instant foods, fast foods, and artificial flavor enhancers and we prefer them.
