CALCIUM FORMATE
English name: Calcium Formate
Molecular weight: 130.12 (according to the international molecular weight in 1989)
Molecular formula: Ca (HCOO) 2
Specific gravity: 2.023 (20℃)
Properties: At normal temperature, it is a white crystalline powder, bitter and non toxic, with slight moisture absorption. It can be mutually dissolved with water, non-flammable and non-exclusive.
Application: It can be used as new type feeding additive, adaptable for sorts of acidogenic mold inhibitor of feedstuff. It has the function of preventing diarrhea and dysentery and promoting digesting and absorbing. In addition, calcium formate can be used as quick solidification agent, lubricant agent and early strength agent of cement. Besides, it can be widely used in the production of high grade leather and many other chemicals.
