VCT2000 is the latest original factory equipment of VOLVO Company. It included disassemble and assemble circuit diagram, parts, system working principle for all type of VOLVO. And it also could inspect, malfunction channel off for all OBD-II cars which were made after 1998. It's the necessary equipment for servicing VOLVO. VCT2000 can do diagnostic fault tracing, reset service reminder indicator, change customer parameters etc in Volvo vehicles from M/Y 1999 and up to Volvo V50 !!!!

The VCT2000 (Vehicle Communication Tool 2000) is a communication device between the vehicle and the VADIS Cart or Tough Book. It is used for downloading software from VADIS to the vehicle, reading off DTCs and to perform other diagnostics for various electronic control modules.

The VCT2000 for diagnostics and reading off DTCs can only be used on cars year model 99 and newer which means that the VCT2000 replaces the Volvo System Tester communication tool on 99- vehicles.

VCT2000 firmware is software specifically designed for the VCT2000 (Volvo Communications Tool). Periodically, new VCT2000 firmware updates will be made available to you. This firmware update is available at no additional cost as long as you maintain an active VDA (Volvo Diagnostic Application) subscription.

To update the VCT2000, you will need:
1: A VCT2000 connected to the computer and the 6 M cable.
2: Power supply for the VCT2000. You can supply power to the VCT2000 by connecting the 6M cable to the VCT2000 and to the OBD2 connector in any 1992 to current Volvo.

NOTE! Always connect the PC to the VCT2000 and the VCT2000 to the 6M cable before connecting it to the car!
