BacterView for total aerobes
BacterView is a kit detecting total aerobic bacteria in your drinking water, which change the color to red. Total aerobic bacteria indicate contamination or stability of water and exist widely in river, ground water, soil, foods, air and so on. They grow in the presence of oxygen and too many numbers can cause stomach disorder or diarrhea.

Principle
| Redox dye is converted to chromogenic product because of reduction by dehydrogenase of bacteria, which indicates red color. |

Test Procedudre

Add 20 mL sample to a medium tube with a filled volume of 4 mL.
|
Add 1 mL substrate to the medium tube filled with sample plus medium.
|
Incubate the sample with medium at 35~37°C for 16~24 hrs. (at ambient temp. for 36 hrs.)

Read the
result |
Add 2 mL BacterZero to the test-finished tube and mix, and discard it into a toilet.

Interpretation of Result
 |
If aerobic bacteria exist in your drinking water, the color of the medium will be changed to red slowly. The color concentration depends on the number of aerobic bacteria.
