Product Information
Newly launched in August, 2021, the biggest characteristic and what distinguishes it from all the other products is that Bohae Soju uses salt to flavor.
The bitter taste of Soju is redeemed using the three salts: the Himalayan pink salt, the Andes Lake salt and the Shinan gray salt. Another difference is its size, which is 15ml larger than the existing Soju to create one more glass of Soju.
The clean taste of the Soju comes from the water, which uses the pure natural water from the Noryeong mountain range. This new product adheres to the company core value by emphasizing the Bohae name (‘the sea that is like a jewel’) and its slogan (‘the depth of the ocean in a single shot’) – it uses the salt from the sea as well as incorporating the element of the sea in the product design (the Chinese character ‘海’ means ‘the sea’).
