Our Japchae range consists of real vegetables that have been freeze-dried into a block, which comes to life with the addition of hot water.

Along with our glass noodles, which are made from mungbeans, unlike traditional recipes where they use noodles that are made of sweet potato starch, this is another tasty, low-calorie option that everyone can enjoy.

If you are adventurous and want to enjoy the Japchae flavor with a kick, we recommend our "Crazy Hot" flavor.

What is Japchae?

Japchae is a popular Korean dish made of stir-fried glass noodles, vegetables, and sometimes meat. Originally a royal dish, it is now commonly served at special occasions and celebrations. The name "japchae" means "mixed vegetables." Historically, it was a luxurious dish without noodles or meat, served to the royal family and high-level officials. Over time, it evolved to include cellophane noodles made from sweet potato starch and various ingredients like beef, pork, and different vegetables. The noodles, known as dangmyeon, are stir-fried and then mixed with the other ingredients, seasoned with soy sauce, sugar, garlic, and sesame oil. Japchae can be served warm, at room temperature, or cold, and can be eaten as a side dish or a main course.

1. Put noodles and flake into a bowl, add hot water until the noodles are submerged, and after 3 minutes, drain more than 95% of the hot water.
