CARBOEXPERT Inc. was founded by professors at Chungnam National University to develop new functional materials needed in the fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and health functional foods. Its main research areas are anti-allergy and asthma, and the cosmetics field developed through these studies. We have also been in the cosmetics business for the past 4 years through THERAPHYTOABEL, a derma cosmetics brand that uses specialized raw materials, Syzygium formosum leaf extract and Inotodiol as core ingredients.
THERAPHYTOABEL is a brand that solves skin concerns and improves the quality of life of consumers by supplying products with proven efficacy and safety through the addition of our own patented raw materials which shows better efficacy than CICA.
THERAPHYTOABEL is a compound word of THERAPHY, which means healing, PHYTO, which means plant, and ABEL, which means vitality in Hebrew. It is a brand with the meaning of 'healing your skin with the vitality of plants.'.
Originally, the business was run with the goal of B2B supply of the raw materials being developed, but the CEO (scientist)'s daughter suffered from severe atopic dermatitis and was unable to improve even after using cosmetics known to be good on the market. However, we found improvement through a prototype of skincare to which our company's raw materials were added. We decided to start my own cosmetics business for parents and children suffering from skin problems.
