Amidst a revolution in robotics and mobility, the demand for optimal mechanisms has never been greater. That’s why we’ve developed METHEUS, an autonomous mechanism design software, streamlining the process for robots and machinery.

In the development of METHEUS, we prioritized maximizing design efficiency while seamlessly meeting all requirements. Additionally, our specialized expertise in mechanism design allows us to offer custom engineering solutions.

1) AI-driven MDA (Mechanism Design Automation)

IDeA, which stands for Intelligent Design Automation, defines our mechanism design approach. We have created METHEUS, a software that automates mechanism design to implement Mechanism Design Automation (MDA).

2) Autonomous Mechanism Design Method

The Autonomous Mechanism Design Method, pioneered by IDeALab at Seoul National University, introduces the pivotal Stem Bar & block Mechanism (SBM) as the core of MDA. 

Similar to stem cells, SBM exhibits the ability to differentiate into various mechanisms,enabling efficient big data generation and AI-driven automatic mechanism design. We employed these unique technologies in the development of METHEUS.

Leveraging advanced AI and big data technology, METHEUS streamlines the traditionally labor-intensive task of mechanical design (specifically, mechanism design) typically done by humans using 3D CAD software.
