DMFC(Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) is a direct methanol fuel cell with a very high efficiency of 80% compared to 30% for diesel engines. Methanol can carry about 1.41 times more than standard cubic meters than liquid hydrogen alone. Methanol can be used as fuel directly without extracting hydrogen using reforming, making it convenient to replace fuel. And the volumetric energy density of methanol at the same temperature & pressure is 1,500 times higher than that of hydrogen gas.
